OrthoRef 2 update and free version

I updated OrthoRef (formerly known as OrthoMind) to version 2.0 in the App Store and Google Play. The iOS version (for iPhone and iPad) is currently awaiting review, and you’ll be able to update the existing installation on your device. If you already purchased the first version, the update is completely free. The Android version is already available for download.

This new version now also contains a few interactive clinical decision support items, as you know from NeuroMind 2. Enjoy!

Further I added a free version called “OrthoRef Lite”. The Android version is available for download, the iOS version is also awaiting review in the App Store. This Lite version contains 60 out of the 100 scores that are available in the full version. Besides, it contains all the decision support items. You can use it as long as you like, you only need to pay if you want to unlock the other 40 scores in the app.

Items that are available only in the full version appear in gray, but will be searchable from the menu so you know they are there. Surprises are for Xmas, you should know what you buy. At least, I think so… sounds fair to me.

By the way, the reason why I changed the name from “OrthoMind” to “OrthoRef” is because I did not check if “OrthoMind” was already in use. My fault… it appeared that OrthoMind.com is an existing service – which looks very good, by the way (check for yourself). The name change avoids confusion.

So, some interactive features for you guys and girls, and a free version besides the paid one. Enjoy your weekend (oh no, wait… it’s only Thursday).
